I bought a denim mini skirt from Old Navy (It is not a very short skirt, so I’m not certain why Old Navy called it a mini skirt) but I get no idea what kind of shoes I would be accompany the denim mini skirt with to stay away from looking sluttish or trashy.

Another answer talk about this, if you be dressed with heels, it is most excellent to wear a modest top. Also think about the remains of your look: a nice blouse, some excellence jewelry, make-up, will cooperate with heels for a revamp look. A cami and bra with ballet flat shoes and not a lot make-up works fine for a casual appearance. Is that wise?
